Sonqo Wasi — 'House of the Heart' in Quechua — brings free creative workshops and celebrations to children and young people in underserved communities. Painting, dance, music and play, in the streets, schools and forests where they live.
Every activity for children is 100% free
Why we exist
Too much charity has taught that good is done through sacrifice. We believe the opposite: joy is a revolutionary act. Children and young people don't need to be 'saved' — they need spaces where they can remember that they were born to shine. We create those spaces: two hours of colour, movement and laughter can plant a seed that lasts a lifetime.

Movement games, songs and dances that release emotions, build confidence and teach teamwork — without competition.

Public gatherings that bring a whole community together around its children: colours, music, a shared meal, a football match where everyone wins.

Workshops held in forests, parks and rivers, so that children grow up feeling that the Earth — Pachamama — is home and family.

Free for beneficiaries
Every activity for children and their families is free of charge.
Play-based and secular
Experiential, arts-based activities with no religious or political content.
Safeguarding first
Facilitators are vetted, with reference and criminal-record checks.
Local partnerships
We work with schools, community leaders and local NGOs.
Transparent
Organisation details, governance and use of funds are public.
Free receipts and reporting
Every donation gets a receipt; accounts will be published on the Transparency page.
